WHO WE ARE

InTheDish was created by Lisa Stanko Mohen, growing up in a large Italian family in Brooklyn, food was an important part of our culture and who we were. When we needed meat we went to the Landi's Pork Store, on Sunday's we bought our ravioli's from Pastosa, when we needed bread we went to Moretti's, and  when we wanted cookies Palermo was the best. But it did not stop there, we had great food everywhere in this borough which encompasses 71 square miles. Growing up in the Old Mill Basin section of Brooklyn, we
